The updated version of the notchback model has been fine-tuned with various modifications. This particular model was designed using Sketchup software and then converted into 3ds and obj formats through the built-in Sketchup converter. Rendering was accomplished using the free Maxwell plug-in program. All materials were compiled into a single folder, while textures were sourced from the Sketchup library. The different components of the model, such as the steering wheel, lights, tires, wheels, wing mirrors, seats, and others, have been grouped together into one comprehensive model through the use of components. This has resulted in a highly organized and efficient design. This model is being offered in its current state without any further modifications or changes. The Volkswagen Type 3 is a compact car that was produced by Volkswagen from 1961 to 1973. It was first unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA), in 1961 and was initially marketed as the Volkswagen 1500 and later as the Volkswagen 1600. The Type 3 came in three body styles: a two-door Notchback, Fastback, and Variant, which was also known as the 'Squareback' in the United States. The introduction of the Type 3 expanded Volkswagen's product line beyond its existing models, including the Type 1 Beetle, Type 14 Karmann Ghia, and Type 2 (Bus). The Type 3 retained several key engineering principles from the Beetle, such as the air-cooled rear-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and all-round torsion bar suspension on a 2,400 mm (94.5 in) wheelbase. The concept behind the Type 3 was to create a family car that offered more passenger and luggage space than the Beetle, along with a larger engine.
