I'll Upload Pics Right Away! I created this design to replace the worn-out check strap pin on my dad's 1973 Volkswagen Thing. I needed a custom doorstop solution, just like the custom machined pin that originally came with my car, which was based on the standard Type 181/182 design. To be honest, drilling out my doorstop holes made them larger than they should be, so please inform me if this doesn't fit. Not many fellow Volkswagen Thing owners have a 3D printer, but I'm excited to share this creation with anyone who might appreciate it. Please comment below if you own one! **Printing Details:** * Rafts: * Don't matter * Supports: None * Notes: For durability's sake, print using the strongest layer height available on your printer (usually around 0.28mm when using a 0.4mm nozzle), along with high infill settings for optimal performance.
