The radio in a VW T5 (and many other models) is angled in such a way that when strong sunlight hits it, all you can see are reflections.\r\n\r\nThis innovative design is a prototype for a sun shield intended to be installed over the radio, making it easier to view the screen.\r\n\r\nThe sun shield is perfectly suited for DIN/Dual DIN radios and head units.\r\n\r\nPrototype 3 - This version shown in the photos demonstrates significant progress.\r\nPrototype 4 - I've begun curving some of the angles for improved functionality.
