I've been working on this project for a while now, and I'm confident that my measurements are spot on - I actually got the chance to borrow the original console when I was designing it. While the internal components weren't fully fleshed out yet, I was able to get my hands on an original model at a steal, which gave me some breathing room since I didn't have time to follow up with this project right away. With some careful DIY modifications, you could still use it as is and add indicator lights to give it a bit of a boost.
