I must admit, scratch-building my very own 3D printer to bring this project to life was an exhilarating experience that made the end result all the more rewarding - purchasing one online would have been far too pedestrian for my taste! As a bonus tip, be aware that scaling up the model size by 1,000 times is necessary due to an unusual peculiarity with using Lightwave as a modeling tool.
