VW Jetta Trunk Part

VW Jetta Trunk Part

thingiverse

This is a part for a ~2000 VW Jetta trunk that refuses to open with the remote or switch. Backstory: I created it because I was about to trade in the car and wanted the trunk to work properly. I ended up keeping the vehicle and it's been installed for over 2 years now, without any problems occurring. Installation: You'll have to crawl into the trunk from the back seats of the car and unscrew all screws holding the felt in place. Then you can open the trunk. Identify the broken part that needs replacement. I held this 3D printed part in place with a small piece of a wooden paint stirring stick - not elegant, but it worked functionally. I'm sharing this file without any support or guarantees because it worked for me, and I wish you good luck in using it.
