This cup holder phone mount is designed specifically for numerous Volkswagen vehicles that feature a standard cup holder without a sliding lid. Once installed, the mount secures snugly within the cup holder, eliminating the need to drill into your vehicle's interior. To keep the USB cable organized, simply route it alongside the passenger seat. When positioning the mount inline with the car, take note that your gear knob may potentially collide with the phone, depending on its size and design. However, you can adjust the mount slightly, allowing the phone screen to face towards your driving position while avoiding interference from the shift knob. To achieve optimal results, print this mount using ABS or PETG materials. PLA, on the other hand, may become misshapen during a hot summer day due to its higher melting point.
