VW Corrado Ventilation Mount (for DAB radio)

I went wild about my car's poor audio reception, faulty antenna, and crummy contacts – I was completely stumped. This project is ongoing, and this is my initial setup. I removed the vents from the middle section – they can be replaced without any damage. I installed this mount into the vent opening. For now, it's okay, but I need to add a hook to make it more secure. I drilled a small hole in the ventilation channel to route the wires through. Next, I'll add a vent channel to the mount so air can circulate freely. I also attached a phone holder for my Moto G6. I used 2.5mm alan bolts to secure everything. I plan to make some adjustments to improve it further. Edit: I stopped using this setup not because of the mount, but due to the poor quality of the DAB+ receiver. I switched to a Pure Highway DAB+, which is much better – unfortunately, this made the mount redundant.
