This is a hook that fits into the trim clips of the original interior trims and thus replaces them. You can attach for example a luggage net or a towel, sun sail etc. to it. Just remove the original clip and insert the hook into the spreader. When reselling later, the hook can be easily replaced with the original clip without any residue. The hook goes very tightly into the spreader, which is why it also holds a wet towel without any problems!
