VW Beetle Moving Key Hanger

<p>Someone on Reddit was looking for something like this and I thought it a fun challenge to design.</p><h4>Print Instructions</h4><ul><li>Designed for 0.2mm layer height with a 0.5 nozzle width or lower.<ul><li>I printed mine on a 0.5mm nozzle at 0.2mm.</li></ul></li><li>Min 3 top layers - Exactly 2 perimeters.<ul><li>Any fewer top layers and the quality may suffer due to infill.</li><li>Any more perimeters and the surface detail may be lost.</li></ul></li><li>15% infill.</li><li>I printed this in PLA. PETG should work, but may be a little sticky for the joints.</li><li><strong>No supports needed</strong> (other than one that's built into the model).</li><li>As the top face is the display side, it's useful to have your extrusion rate pretty dialed in, otherwise the face can get messy. I had some luck with ironing, but that also benefits from a dialed extrusion rate.</li></ul><h4>Assembly Instructions</h4><ol><li>Print.</li><li>Remove the supports from the Boot and Back components.<ol><li>They should come off easily with hand pressure pulling on the square tab at the base of the support. Try to be gentle.</li></ol></li><li>Assemble components onto the back plate (see pictures)</li><li>Align the front-plate holes with the back plate pins and press closed firmly.<ol><li>The press fit is quite tight, may benefit from some slight trimming of any seams on the back plate pins.</li></ol></li><li>Can be attached to the wall with 3M Command Strips.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I recently remixed this as a magnetic key holder which includes many improvements. <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/145107-vw-beetle-magnetic-moving-key-holder">You can find that here</a>.</p><p>You can find<a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/126958-vw-beetle-decorative-profile"> my Bug Profile outline here, including a DXF and STEP</a>:&nbsp;</p>
