VW Beetle Metal Dash Conversion Latch Escutcheon for Glove box Door

I am transforming my classic padded dash 74 Standard VW Beetle into a sleek metal dash conversion. To achieve this, I removed the back of the existing padded dash panel and attached it to the front of an old metal dash door. The challenge arises from the mismatched latch holes, so most enthusiasts opt for welding them shut and re-drilling new ones. However, being a bit lazy and lacking access to a welder, I devised this clever trim piece that discreetly conceals the outdated latch hole. And it's a game-changer! PETG filament, four perimeter passes, and a 40% infill density were my chosen settings for this project. Edit: For those interested in replicating this door conversion, I highly recommend checking out this comprehensive guide on TheSamba: https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=414792&highlight=
