VW / Amarok Dash Mount

I designed these for use in Volkswagen Amarok stock dash mounts. They will also work well on other vehicles in the VW lineup. Simply remove the original covers and attach this mount using screws. It can be used as a blank or as a universal mount for phones and other accessories. Three files are included: - A blank, useful if you lose your original cover - An arrow pointing up to help with alignment checks - A rectangular design measuring 30x15mm, with a 2mm tall protrusion. When making your own parts, create a negative version of this (adding about 0.2mm tolerance to all sides and an extra 0.4mm depth) then glue and press them together. All parts have arrows on the underside to aid in orientation when gluing to your holder. When attaching the mount to your custom part, you might want to add a 1mm spacer as the base mount will sit flush against the dash mount outer ring, and your part may rub against it, making it difficult to lock into place. A photo is included to help with creating this mount from scratch, as the three locking tabs are not evenly angled. I print with eSun PLA+ and find that even after many months of exposure to sunlight, there's no noticeable warping of the part when parked in direct sun.
