It adds substantial stability to the corner. Support structures are unnecessary in this setup. One piece replaces three corner brackets entirely. I used it effectively in my build of Vulcanus Max V1.1. When printing, align so that the rear side triangle is flat against the bed. Adjust it to 45 degrees from the right side and at a 36 degree angle elsewhere for optimal results. Printing without supports makes this model an excellent benchmark for evaluating your printer's bridging capabilities.
