Vulcanus 40 Leadscrew Mount
thingiverse
If you're building a Vulcanus 30 or 40 and not doing the remix, this is the bracket you need to use - 8mm Acme Leadscrew. There's another one of these here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1647238 I printed these without thinking that 1647238 would NOT fit on a Vulcanus 40 (it's not the same thickness profile as the screwrod nut holders). My part brings into parity by allowing a Leadscrew instead of the threadrod, with only 2 brackets to print. They are the same geometry and should require no special handling or resizing. The hole is aligned up in the exact same place as well, so no tweaking should be needed. I've provided my FreeCAD drawing as well, to edit the base STL to your needs. I print these in 30% rectilinear with 3 perimeter walls and 3 layers at 100% infill for top and bottom. Pretty much standard Slic3r settings are used. If you do a heated build chamber, use ABS or higher heat plastics. I'm doing mine out of natural PLA, so I can cast everything in aluminum soon.
