I'm currently redesigning the Z axis of the Vulcan 400 with a larger build volume, but I'm not satisfied with the original bed mount design. To improve it, I've remixed the 2020 mount from a modified HEVO component (thanks to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2254103 for the inspiration). My updated version includes a hex nut receptacle in the bottom plate. The top glass holder was designed using Fusion, featuring set screws on both the top and bottom with a 3/6"-24 xx 1/4" thread size. The glass itself is made of 6mm Borosilicate material, while the heater has a thickness of about 1.5mm. The aluminum plate measures approximately 2.5mm thick. For the adjustable component, I utilized an M5 thumb screw and spring combo, which is secured by an M5 nut on the 2020 bracket.
