Vufine Dock Mount
thingiverse
I don't have very flexible filament, so printing this was a challenge. However, I managed to scale down the design to eliminate the need for "sticky" parts and glued in a 1mm thick magnet that I found in some nice packaging that used magnets. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the vufine has two magnets built-in for stability reasons, which means this mount may need significant redesign. I printed this with Ninjatek Armadillo TPU because it's all I have on hand. The strap is a bit stiff and might benefit from some thinning out, but so far, it holds onto my Oakley's Five's Squared securely. That was the main goal of this project. I much prefer this mount over the ball joint one. Unfortunately, that design is quite terrible. Now, I just need to figure out how to keep my vufine from sliding down with the current setup... which might require another redesign.
