Vtech VM-343 Antenna Arm Replacement Part

This is a custom replacement part designed for the Vtech VM-343 baby monitor parent unit. The original antenna was damaged by my son, prompting me to create this replacement. Unfortunately, Vtech no longer manufactures parts for this model. To address this issue, I designed and soldered a standard wire into place as an antenna, which connects to this attachment arm. A single set screw secures the part in place, reused from the original design. I recommend removing the spring that adds excessive tension on the screw, potentially causing it to back out over time. Alternatively, applying lock tight can resolve this issue. When tightening the screw, be cautious not to overtighten it. For optimal results, printing with PETG or ABS material is recommended.
