My 2-year-old child already owns the Vtech mining theme toy. The train in this set climbs a hill all by itself. In the regular theme with the blue bridge, you have to turn a handle to make it move, so I came up with a motorization idea. Here's what you'll need: 1x 12V Motor (specifically c9050-60003) - an old 2D printer motor that can be found online (https://goo.gl/YMfPrH) 1x Holder for 4xAA Cells (https://goo.gl/xLN2k8) 2x M3 Screws (17mm long) and their corresponding nuts 2x Short M3 Screws (about 3mm long) to secure the motor in place 1x 12V Button/switch I had to cut a hole on one side because there wasn't another spot. You can drill holes for the side cover, but be careful not to damage it with a soldering gun.
