A vibrant multi-colored print emerges, taking shape as the iconic Hokie bird of Virginia Tech's proud mascot when expertly 3D printed. This intricate 4-color masterpiece demands a precise combination of white, red/maroon, black, and orange filaments to bring it to life. Layer height and color calibration is key: From 0 to 2.0 mm, the print erupts with crisp white hues. Between 2.0 and 2.4 mm, bold red/maroon tones assert their presence. At 2.4 to 2.8 mm, sleek black surfaces dominate. Finally, from 2.8 to 3.2 mm, vibrant orange accents burst forth. By harnessing the power of Simplify3D's "Variable Settings Wizard," version 4.0 and beyond, I successfully split the model at crucial heights (2.0, 2.4, and 2.8). With each process adjusted to perfection, I printed the model segment by segment, seamlessly transitioning between colors with precision.
