VSR-10 hopup concave nub
thingiverse
Made specifically for my JG BAR-10, the dreaded right hook hop on anything heavier than .2g is a thing of the past! The stock arm's inability to effectively hop .28g is no longer an issue. This nub serves as a self-shimming wonder, lifting heavier bb's with less fps loss compared to a stock hu. Installation is a breeze: 1. Turn the stock bucking inside out. 2. Cut off the stock rubber bucking 'nub' and gently sand/file the inside bucking. 3. Cut/file the 2 prongs on the stock hop arm FLUSH and even as you can. 4. Glue this nub exactly where the center of the 2 teeth/prongs were with super glue. 5. Allow to dry (it's a given) and test fit. If done correctly, you can still hop .2g at say 15% settings, hop .3g at 40% settings, and beyond that, it's anyone's guess. I'm only pushing 400fps currently, but @ 65% hop my .3g are soaring into space! Hop setting to 0% and bbs may roll out the front. The dimensions of this nub make it 'fitted' limiting side to side play, therefore not causing bb's to hook left and right. The length is also quite extended for a longer contact patch. Any longer and this nub might cause an air leak to the front of the bucking. Let me know your results, good or bad!
