I needed a way to mount my proximity sensors to my OxCNC, so I designed a few solutions and settled on one that seemed to work perfectly. This specific design is tailored for 12mm sensors, but the FreeCAD file can be easily modified to accommodate 18mm sensors if desired. The key requirement for this design is at least 60mm profiles to ensure secure mounting of each end with the sensor in the middle - a detail that could be altered if needed. Printing the part on the side without supports works well, and I found that screw holes can be tight (my own were great for 5mm), so it's recommended to drill them out slightly using a drill. For those who want to tweak or customize this design, I've included the FreeCAD file, allowing you to modify, experiment with, or even completely overhaul it as desired.
