Vsett 9+ rear fender extension
prusaprinters
Vsett 9+ has a short rear fender, it kicks up lots of water and dirt. This is a simple fix that you simply glue on to the fender. The model has a slight curve to it to match the fender but this is also scalable if you make the model thicker or thinner. I also added a box shape in the middle of the model at the bottom to help with printing stability. I highly recommend using Petg to make it more flexible, my sample is very flexible and you can bend it in any direction without it snapping. Printing instructions Print it standing up using brims. Use 3-4 walls or as many as you need to only get walls. Use slow speeds and little to no fan if using Petg. Play around with your extrusion width to try to get 2 internal perimeters. I used:Perimeter width - 0.44External perimeter width - 0.42Layer height - 0.2Brim on If you are using Arachne, you could try different settings to get the best internal perimeter width/numbersPreferably no z hop is needed, use seam option (nearest). Printing it standing up takes about 1.5-2h but also uses less filament and if you have a well tuned printer, it will be very strong and flexible without snapping.
