VS Seeker Battery Pack
thingiverse
This battery holder draws inspiration from the VS Seeker in Pokemon Leaf Green and Fire Red. It features a hole that can be used to attach a ring, securing the entire unit to a bag or pants. The battery stored within is the Morphie Powerstation Mini(https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=powerstation+mini), and the design can likely be modified to accommodate larger or smaller models, holding up to 2500 mAh. Vents in the back allow for airflow around the battery. The unit should snap together using its pins, but if this doesn't work, they can serve as guides for gluing the two parts together. 8/12/16: Separate files have been added for each part. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .25 Post-Printing Options: Once the VS seeker is printed, it's ready to be customized. The design can be based on any style you like! The original game version looks like this (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Vs._Seeker), and I've modified it to create unique designs for our region. You'll also find a design inspired by my Pokemon Go team. Feel free to get creative with your post-production work. For ease of use, I recommend using ABS plastic. If you don't mind the lines, printing in PLA is an option as well. The unit seems to snap together better with PLA. A manufacturer's sticker has been added to the back for a more authentic look. This isn't necessary but adds a nice touch. A red version of the VS Seeker is also available, though it requires some additional work on the paint job.
