A custom VRM cooling shroud engineered to fit snugly over a standard 120mm exhaust fan at the rear of a PC. This design aims to deliver superior cooling for the high-temperature voltage regulator modules commonly found on poorly designed motherboards, particularly those on recent Ryzen-based systems. By cleverly channeling air through the shroud, it creates turbulence around the VRMs, effectively keeping them within a safe operating temperature range. The part is optimized for flatbed printing without the need for support structures, thanks to its carefully crafted vented design. However, due to the presence of overhanging features (~13mm bridges), a part cooling fan is highly recommended when using PLA filament to ensure smooth and successful print completion.
