/// History /// The McLaren MCL32 is a Formula 1 racing car driven by Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne in the 2017 F1 World Championship. The MCL32 marks a significant change for McLaren, as it is their first car since the McLaren M30 to not include the "MP4" prefix in its chassis name. This shift was made after CEO Ron Dennis departed from the team in November 2016. For its third and final season with Honda, the partnership continued to struggle with reliability issues and a lack of power. The Honda engine was eventually replaced by a Renault engine for the 2018-2020 seasons. /// VRC Team /// @SamuelBelhumeur is responsible for 3D modeling, painting, and texturing. @MatiasSala handles in-game importing and processing, animation, and textures. @QazdarKarim contributes to car physics. @MikeKrybus and @LukasMollmann work together on engine sounds. // Note // The McLaren MCL32 was created as an official model for the VRC Modding Team.
