VR Tracking Ball and Mount (PS Move Service)

I designed this specifically for the PS Move Service and Freepie to be able to offer a lighter solution than using an additional PS Move controller strapped directly to your HMD. The concept originated from Daley Tech on YouTube, but the design is my own creation. I fabricated it in white Worksteel PLA which boasts similar diffusion characteristics compared to the PS Move balls atop the controllers. To illuminate the ball, I utilized a 12-volt LED strip; however, any bright light source could accomplish this feat. For stability, I secured the LED strip to the HMD strap with two zipties, and the ball itself was firmly attached using a small amount of superglue.
