VR sculpted Avatar selfportrait

My name is Martin, a 34-year-old husband and father of two who's passionate about art and technology. I've been fortunate enough to make a living doing 2D art, but lately, my interest in 3D art has skyrocketed, especially with the thrill of creating 3D art in VR. This innovative way of working has allowed me to seamlessly translate my 2D skills into 3D. I had an absolute blast sculpting this model and I hope it brings as much joy to those who print it! Unfortunately, I'm still learning about preparing files for printing, so please let me know if there's anything that can be optimized. The Avatar is self-explanatory, showcasing me in a digital form with all my tools at hand: Wacom tablet, VR headset, brushes, palettes, coffee refills, and color tanks full of creativity and caffeine. Print Files: The print files consist of multiple assets, including one where the base and figure are separated, a solid version of the mesh, and a hollow one. This way, you can experiment with the version that works best for your printer. Making the Sculpt: I sculpted the model from start to finish in Oculus Medium (VR), even developing the initial character concept through quick 3D sketches in VR. Once I decided on a form, I refined it in Medium. Initially, I used Mirror, but later turned it off to achieve some asymmetry and life into the model. Most of the sculpting was done using basic primitives, the move tool, and smoothing. Working in VR on this project was an incredible experience, with technical barriers rarely getting in my way. After being happy with the model, I exported an FBX to Zbrush. Here, I Zremeshed the different parts and reprojected the details of the original mesh to get a low-poly version for texturing. Texturing was done in Substance Painter using the high-res mesh to generate normal maps and more. The print file was further refined in Zbrush by adding additional details to areas like hair. Preparation for printing was done using Zbrush's 3D Print Hub and Autodesk Meshmixer to inspect the model and hollow it out. Ideally, I would have loved to 3D print this guy and find the right settings, but hopefully, one of the more experienced 3D printers out there can help me optimize at some point. Good luck to everyone! More renders and videos can be found here: https://www.artstation.com/art...
