VR magnetic trigger for cardboard

VR magnetic trigger for cardboard

I just purchased a VR headset to use with my smartphone, and it functions similarly to a Google Cardboard but boasts superior build quality. Unfortunately, it lacks a magnetic trigger. This trigger utilizes the same magnet as the official Google Cardboard. Simply insert the magnets into the trigger and back holder. The back holder is positioned inside the VR headset. To assemble this unit, you will need to drill two holes with a diameter of 3mm or 1/8". The assembly process takes place on a flat surface. Alternatively, you can choose to glue it to the headset instead of using screws. In addition to the provided materials, you will also require: Two M3x14 or M3x16 flat head machine screws Two M3 washers Two M3 hex nuts Two magnet pieces for the cardboard, each measuring 19.7 in diameter and 3mm thick To learn more about how I designed this project, check out my work on Fusion 360.
