VR Headset with 5-Inch HDMI Display I've built a basic VR headset using smartphone-compatible VR glasses that can be found on eBay or sourced from China at an affordable price. The display is a 5-inch HDMI TFT touch screen designed for the Raspberry Pi, also available on eBay or in China. To assemble this VR headset, you'll need to print the frame and two holders for the display. These holders are secured with M2.5x8 screws. Remove the slot for your smartphone from the VR glasses and take off the front cover. Next, attach the display frame to both sides using hot glue. Before replacing the front cover, cut a hole in it to accommodate the connections. Once you've completed these steps, connect your headset to a computer via micro-USB and HDMI cable, and you're ready for a VR experience. Future plans include upgrading this VR headset with an Arduino-based gyro sensor. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this project.
