VR Gravity Sketch "Biomimicry" Submarine
sketchfab
My submission for this week's Sketchwars theme: Submarines! Drawing inspiration from biomimicry in design and referencing a jellyfish, I conceptualized a single-person submersible fully immersed in VR using Gravity Sketch. The spherical glass pressure vessel features an upper hatch for entry and exit, which opens upward to facilitate boarding and closes downward for unobstructed views of illuminated sea creatures beneath the lights on the tentacles. These flexible, non-aggressive tentacles not only navigate through debris but also automatically collect foreign objects from the ocean floor.
