This VR goggles remix, based on Croccy22's original design, is tailored for larger phones like Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and 4, as well as iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. It uses 1.5" lenses from UltraOptix SV-2LPLED 7X Aspheric LED Lighted Magnifier and a modified holder by tlalexander, available on Thingiverse. The modifications involved significant phone and face fitting adjustments. Print the parts with Trinity Labs Aluminatus at .300mm layer height and attach padding using hot melt glue gun. Use weather strip padding from Home Depot for comfort. Include a 3mm brass hot set insert and a 3mm bolt with press on red thumb screw for lens position adjustment. A 1.5" elastic strap completes the headband, resulting in improved VR experience compared to Google Cardboard.
