VR FJ Wagon

The FX/FJ series of flour wagons trace their origins by a complicated conversion history to the earlier CK series of wagons used for the transport of pulverised brown coal. The first wagons for flour transport were converted and reclassified as FX series. When the standard gauge reached Melbourne however, this classification need to be modified to FJ as the 'X' code was otherwise employed to signify wagons for which bogies could be exchanged (for the different gauge). By the late 1970s, only two FJ wagons (FJ 8 and FJ 9) remained in service. This model consists of the FX/FJ wagon body and under-carriage. This model can be finished with decals and brass etch details including shunter steps and ladder. From [VR N Scale Models](https://www.shapeways.com/shops/vrnscale)
