Voxelab Aquila vertical display mount
thingiverse
I installed custom firmware on my recently acquired Voxelab Aquila and needed a new mount for the display as the new firmware runs in portrait mode. The mount does mainly these three things: * Retains the original angle of the display, which I quite liked * Doesn't cover the printers frame with the display * Positions the display at the perfect height But be warned, the display didn't fit right away. I had to manually cut off some material to make it fit afterwards. I adjusted the model so it should fit now, but I didn't print it again to make sure. By the way, I highly recommend installing this [firmware](https://github.com/alexqzd/Marlin). Words can't tell how much I'm pleased with the upgrade. The original firmware doesn't support the M600 command for filament change. This was initially the main reason for me to try this out. But it actually does much more and makes printing a much more pleasant experience. I also think it instantly improved the print quality a bit, but I'm not sure how. It might be a different factor for the extruder, as I set the value from memory and it might be slightly different.
