This is a simple, yet very effective filament sensor meant for the Voxelab Aquila. Prints with support for only the largest piece, all other need none. You will need to shim the filament passage in the housing to prevent the filament from slipping off. I will make a more precise version for more accurate printers. I used zip ties and stuck them in after the sensor was assembled, and simply cut off the extra. You will also need the following components. You can cut this with anything that will snip thin metal. For assembly, use a soldering iron to first inset the inserts into the sensor block (the thick piece the sensor attaches to). You should have the two that the sensor needs to screw into facing up and the other two facing the base plate (down). From there, just screw it all together and insert your shims into the filament passage. I recommend gluing these in place carefully or using something that tapers to prevent it sliding through. All parts should be printed on their flat surfaces facing the bed, supports for the baseplate only. Printed this using 0.6mm nozzle, 0.3 layer height, 50mm/s. 15% infill
