Modifed the Red Squirrel Compact Fan Housing by RedSquirrelHobbies to fit the Voxelab Aquila (Ender 3 v2 clone). I liked that it uses 2 screw points to mount and a 5015 fan for part coolling. Also, the fan housing blocks a lot of the air from the heatsink fan from blowing down on the print area which helps prevent over cooling when printing PETG, ABS, and the like. There's also another side housing clamp on the right side in the original but I found that it's not needed but you can download it from the original if you want extra rigidity. The fan cover is also available in the original. You will need two M3x10 screws and a M3 threaded insert. The insert goes on the top of the base locking clamp and the M3 screw is screwed in from the back. If you decide to use the side housing clamp, it requires two M2x6 screws. The fan housing without the bltouch mountpoint only needs automatic supports touching the build plate. Do not use automatic supports everywhere as it will add them inside the shroud. The fan housing with the bltouch mountpoint will need manual supports for the mountpoint. Changes from the original: 1. Slotted mount holes for height adjustment when using non-stock hotends. I've fitted this on the stock hotend, a micro-swiss all metal hotend, a red lizard hotend (mosquito/micro-swiss clone). 2. Raised the cutout at the bottom for a better view to the nozzle. 3. Added a BLTouch mount (use the bltouch version of the fan housing). I don't use it but I added it in case you want to. To install, fit the housing on loosely. Then, insert a screw into the bottom of the base locking clamp first and loosely screw it over the housing and into the metal mount plate on the bottom screw hole. Insert the second M3 screw from the back where the stock housing screw used to be. Screw in through the base housing and into the threaded insert on the locking clamp. Adjust the height using a flat ruler or a credit card. The bottom of the housing should be level with the bottom of the silicone sock. 2mm of the nozzle should be sticking out below that "level" line. Have fun printing! *UPDATE 07/11/2021 - I realized the non-bltouch fan shroud was an old version which I have updated now. The only difference is the old version had smaller adjustment slots limiting the height movement for some 3rd party hotends.
