Voxel: Sun Wukong - in the mountains

One of my most beloved characters since childhood is Sun Wukong, the mighty Monkey King from Journey to the West. He has always been my hero and a true inspiration. My parents would read me Xi You Ji before bedtime, and I'd watch the TV drama series from 1982, which was extremely popular in China at that time. I was captivated by Sun Wukong's monkey-like traits and his cool demeanor with those piercing golden eyes. Numerous adaptations into manga, animation, and movies have been made over the years, but he remains the invincible hero of all. In this model, I depicted a miniature version of the Monkey King in his early days, ruling over his fellow monkeys on high mountains and savoring the Peach of Immortality at his favorite spot. The model is modified from my AnimaVoxel series' monkey model.
