Voxel Running Rockman

This is an animated voxel tribute to the iconic character Rockman (1987), also known as Mega Man in the US, created by Akira Kitamura and Capcom. The Rockman series on Nintendo Famicom was my childhood obsession, and the little blue robot remains one of my favorite video game characters. It began as a study of run cycles, which I admired for their minimalistic efficiency with only three poses or frames involved. I ended up making it full 3D, adding a scrolling environment based on the end credits scene from the original game. The music is from Rockman's OST - Ending Theme, composed by Matsumae Manami and licensed by Capcom.
