Votive relief with two goddesses

This sculpture depicts two women clad in long, belted tunics and carrying small cloaks. Their faces are shielded by veils that cover their heads from top to bottom. In their raised right hands, they grasp objects that have worn down over time, now barely recognizable. This relief was unearthed at the sacred sanctuary of Artemis Kithonem in Miletus, a city situated in modern-day Turkey.
