Located within the sanctuary of Amphiaraos at Oropos, this depiction showcases the various stages involved in treating a patient. On the right, a supplicant, likely the afflicted individual or a close relative, approaches with reverence. Meanwhile, on the left, Amphiaraos is seen healing the same patient by gently touching his shoulder. The tall base panel in the background signifies the sacred area where these events unfold. As stated in the inscription, this relief was dedicated to Amphiaraos by Archinos.
