Votive relief in the shape of a cave

The relief was discovered deep within a cave at Vari, Attica. Three Nymphs are prominently featured inside this cave setting. Pan stands on the left side of the entrance, proudly holding a lagobolon. On the opposite side, a thrilling hunting scene unfolds. At the bottom left corner, the personified river Acheloos makes an appearance. The individual responsible for dedicating this relief is identified by an inscription located directly beneath its representation.
