Located south of the River Ilissos in Athens, this impressive relief stands out for its naiskos form, complete with pilasters, an epistyle, and a sturdy cornice. On the right side, a powerful figure steps forward as Herakles grasps the lion's pelt and club tightly in his hand. In the center of the scene, a servant leads a bull towards sacrifice, while at the left, a family group is depicted with their loyal maidservant, who proudly carries a wicker basket covered by a cloth on her head. The votive inscription above reads: "Panis Aigirios to Herakles." Archaeologists believe this relief likely originated from the sacred sanctuary of Herakles at Kynosarges.
