This magnificent relief was unearthed on the western slope of the iconic Athenian Acropolis.\r\nIt belongs to a classic "funerary banquet" category, where a god or heroic figure reclines comfortably on a couch at the foot of which stands their loyal companion.\r\nIn front of them lies a round table laden with delectable food and drink.\r\nA devoted slave is seen approaching from the right side, bearing offerings in hand, while a family of worshipers follows closely behind.
