I really love my Vortex Solo 10x36 monocular, but it doesn't come with lens covers. As I was worried about scratching the lenses, I created them myself. The final design is quite straightforward. It consists of two small caps that fit the two lenses and stay in place thanks to a piece of elastic cord with a diameter of 3 mm. The elastic cord is attached to the caps by threading it through a small hole on top of the caps. To prevent losing the lens covers, I tied them to the monocular by looping the elastic cord through the lanyard loop. I printed the lens covers in black PLA using the default Cura PLA settings.
