Vortex Generator for RC Plane
thingiverse
After fine-tuning various shapes and angles, I've finally pinpointed the optimal configuration on both. The void below the surface allows the Vg to conform to the Rc plane's wing profile. Upon installation, I advise sealing the gap with tape and epoxy (or simply tape) to prevent high-pressure air from escaping through it, thereby negating the vortex effect. Secure the Vg in place using epoxy or superglue. Avoid employing sticky tape, as it will significantly elevate the VG and compromise its appearance. Not designed for full-scale aircraft. Position each VG at least 4 cm apart (or you'll inadvertently create an airbrake). If you apply this to your plane, please share a photo. The line marked as 10° on the VG should be parallel to the hypothetical line running through the centre of your plane. Refer to the accompanying image for further clarification.
