Finally a dimensionally accurate Vortech supercharger mockup model has been created. Perfect for printing and mocking up install space and orientation for your next custom supercharger build is the primary purpose of this model. This model applies to the V-1, V-2, V-3 SI Vortech superchargers, with obvious differences between versions being the straight cut versus helical cut gear, and self-lubricated versus external lubrication. Details on these variations can be found on the Vortech website. The model includes both the CW and CCW compressor housing, and accepts a 3/4-inch keyed shaft for pulley fitment. In my application, I purchased some 3/4-inch key shaft and adhered it into the printed model for mock-up purposes. The compressor and gearbox are empty and designed for structural mockup. Also included is the basic dimensional drawing from Vortech so that the correct holes can be tapped for proper fitment and testing. Model slicing in half may be required for printing, with large STL files included for detailed analysis.
