This is an accessory for the awesome Vorpal Combat Hexapod, if you haven't seen that yet, then this won't make sense, so visit there first: [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2513566](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2513566) I made this all open source and respectfully ask you to consider supporting the project. We successfully funded on Kickstarter with hundreds of kits sold, and now we have our own store. We have more than just the Hexapod electronics, we have all kinds of things useful for small robotics and other projects: [Vorpal Robotics Store with Hexapod Kits](http://store.vorpalrobotics.com) + If you opt-in to receive our store monthly newsletters, you'll automatically be enrolled in a monthly prize drawing; first prize is a $100 store credit and there are lots of other smaller prizes too! [Joust Game Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wikXps27vTA) The long thing is called the Lance. This attaches to the robot's accessory port in front of the robot. The little thing is the "rider". Magnets make the rider stick to the lance. There are two positions for the rider, front and back. The front position makes the game much easier for novices. You may also give "odds" to a novice player by putting your rider in front and letting theirs be in the back. There are two different Lance variations. The curved version might be a little easier to use for some players. To be fair, both players should have the same kind of lance. For complete game rules, see the Games and Activities Page on our website: http://www.vorpalrobotics.com/wiki/index.php?title=Vorpal_Combat_Hexapod_Games_and_Activities Installing the Magnets ----------------------------- Each design has a receptacle for a 10mm diameter by 3mm thick magnet. The magnet should be installed with the South pole exposed. In our kits, the north pole is marked with a dimple. Magnets on the robot should have dimples showing, magnets on accessories that stick to the robot should have dimples hidden. It's pretty easy. The magnets, if they are the correct size, snap in. You may be able to do this with your fingers or you may need to gently use pliers to force them in a bit further. But for me at least, they never fall out. If they fall out for you, I'm sure a drop of superglue or hot glue will solve the problem.
