This is an add-on accessory for the totally awesome Vorpal Combat Hexapod, which can only be fully appreciated after visiting its original source: * [Thing 2513566: Vorpal Combat Hexapod](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2513566) I made this project entirely open-source and respectfully ask you to consider supporting it. We successfully funded on Kickstarter with hundreds of kits sold, and now we have our own store. Our store offers more than just the Hexapod electronics; it has a wide range of things useful for small robotics and other projects: [Vorpal Robotics Store with Hexapod Kits](http://store.vorpalrobotics.com) + IMPORTANT: If you opt-in to receive our store's monthly newsletters, you'll automatically be enrolled in a monthly prize drawing. The first prize is a $100 store credit, and there are many other smaller prizes too! The long thing attaches to the robot's accessory port and has a magnetic flag grabber on the end. The flag also features magnets. To capture the flag skillfully, you'll need to crouch the hexapod down, then return to your side of the field and perform a crouch-and-scrape motion to release the flag into the cup. For complete game rules, see our [Games and Activities Page on our website](http://www.vorpalrobotics.com/wiki/index.php?title=Vorpal_Combat_Hexapod_Games_and_Activities). Installing the Magnets ------------------------- Each design has a receptacle for a 10mm diameter by 3mm thick magnet. The magnet should be installed with the South pole exposed on the Flag and the North pole exposed on the flag attachment (the long thing that goes on the robot). In our kits, north pole is marked with a dimple. Magnets on the robot or accessories attached to the robot should have dimples visible, while magnets on game pieces that stick to the robot (in this case, the flag) should have their dimples hidden. The magnets, if they are the correct size, will snap into place. You may be able to do this with your fingers, or you might need to gently use pliers to force them in the last little bit. But for me at least, they never fall out. If they do fall out for you, I'm sure a drop of superglue or hot glue will solve the problem.
