A huge thanks goes out to Georgy Voronoi and the team at Meshmixer for their incredible work on 3D data manipulation. The Voronoi patterning tool is a game-changer, producing stunning and unique 3D models. I recently created this quick model to experiment with some renders. Using Fusion 360, I followed this workflow: I started by creating a simple 'form' shape, hollowed it out and thickened the model, then exported an STL file for use in Meshmixer. From there, I decimated the surface regularity to randomize the Voronoi partitioning and finally output the 3D STL file back into Fusion 360 for rendering. I hope you enjoy this model!
