Voronoi Plague Doctor Mask
thingiverse
At top speed with no quality adjustments this print took 105 hours to complete. Although it's not a quick print by any means, it turns out to be quite durable. To add some flair line the interior walls of this mask with wax paper and insert a "breathing" style LED circuit in a color that matches your filament. This build should likely be printed with a raft and possibly one or two manual supports. I nested the nose inside the mask body to print both at once, which worked out well. The print structure is robust and doesn't need much assistance. I printed at 120 mm/s with supports in place. These supports failed miserably but the print still succeeded with some noticeable flaws. For best results I recommend printing at a more moderate speed and preferably in a fireproof enclosure since this is an extremely long print. Additionally, if you use the A8, it's highly suggested to upgrade your fan duct to the semi-circle or a similar design that's securely fastened in place. The stock duct tends to fall off over time, which could lead to a fire risk or ruined prints when left unattended for such an extended period.
