Voronoi mushroom lamp with USB power supply
thingiverse
This is a remix of Voronoi mushroom lamp https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:784917. I upgraded the power supply to USB micro, making it easier to give this mushroom lamp away. Almost everyone has a micro USB cable and a USB charger on hand. To assemble this project, you'll need a 68 Ohm resistor, a Micro USB socket, and a 5mm RGB Rainbow Slow Flashing LED. The Micro USB socket should be lightly sanded on the adhesive side to ensure a bombproof bond. You can find affordable options for these components online: 5 pieces of Micro USB sockets cost approximately EUR 1 each on eBay (https://www.ebay.at/itm/5Pcs-Female-Micro-USB-zu-DIP-Adapter-Konverter-2-54mm-PCB-Breakout-BoaAB/153090448632), and 20 pieces of 5mm RGB Rainbow Slow Flashing LEDs cost approximately EUR 1 each on eBay (https://www.ebay.at/itm/20-Stucke-5Mm-Diffused-Rgb-Regenbogen-Langsam-Blinkt-Rot-Grun-Blau-Led-Leds-ng/232301816723?hash=item3616446b93:g:eHQAAOSwAspbPdw3). I printed this project with a layer height of 0.1, resulting in a smooth finish. Mushroom_bottom-USB_V2.stl has been added to the repository on 05.11.2018, making it easier to print without support.
